Itinerary:

Day 1 – Welcome to Mondovì Piazza

Upon arrival at Milan Malpensa Airport, we’ll meet and depart for Mondovì, a medieval village from the 12th century nestled among Piedmont’s rolling hills.
After about two and a half hours, we’ll reach Mondovì Piazza, where we’ll check in to our charming historic residence.
We’ll have time to relax and stroll through the cobbled streets of the old town, surrounded by noble palaces and scenic squares.
The evening will end with a welcome dinner in a local restaurant, paired with fine Piedmontese wines.

Day 2 – The elegance of Cuneo and the flavors of the valley

After breakfast, we’ll head to Cuneo, the provincial capital — an elegant city at the foot of the Alps, known for its long arcades and relaxed atmosphere.
We’ll take a walk through the historic center and enjoy lunch in a traditional restaurant, tasting local specialties.
In the afternoon, we’ll return to Mondovì for some time to rest, before heading to the countryside for a cheese-tasting dinner in a farmhouse, accompanied by local wines and the warm hospitality of rural Piedmont.

Day 3 – Market life, faith and tradition

After breakfast, we’ll take the historic funicular down from Mondovì Piazza to Mondovì Breo to visit the local market, full of colors, aromas, and daily life.
We’ll then travel to the Sanctuary of Vicoforte, a Baroque masterpiece known for its elliptical dome — the largest of its kind in the world.
Lunch will be in a cozy local restaurant with homemade dishes and regional wines.
After a relaxing afternoon, we’ll head to Prea, where we’ll take part in a traditional Piedmontese cooking class, followed by a friendly dinner featuring the dishes we prepared together.

Day 4 – Wine, mountains and conviviality

In the morning, we’ll visit a local mountain prosciutto producer, where we’ll learn about the traditional curing process and enjoy a lunch featuring their own products.
In the afternoon, we’ll relax before setting off for a sunset hike to a mountain lodge, where we’ll enjoy an aperitivo and a rustic dinner at high altitude, surrounded by music, good company, and mountain charm.
We’ll return to Mondovì in the evening under the stars — a perfect finale to a day of nature, friendship, and simplicity.

Day 5 – Farewell, Piedmont

After breakfast, we’ll enjoy one last coffee in the main square of Mondovì, taking in the panoramic views over the hills, before departing for the airport.
One last look at the countryside, one last toast — and a promise to return.
